Nikki Johnson, Vice President of Environmental Engineering
Source Intelligence

Nikki Johnson is the VP of Environmental Engineering at Source Intelligence and has been working in the environmental compliance industry for over 17 years. She sits on several IPC committees related to the development of the 175x series of standards which are used to declare product compliance. Her passion for chemistry and the environment led her to pursue a career in protecting our resources and people with proper electronic substance reporting and regulations. Nikki obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Sarah Scott, Senior Environmental Engineer
Microsoft

Sarah is a Senior Environmental Engineer, within Microsoft’s Azure and Cloud Hardware division. She has a degree in Science, Technology, and Environmental Studies from the University of Washington, and has been shaping the future of sustainable technology for Microsoft since 2008. She has been instrumental in the evolution from hard document submission to dynamic, accessible data.

In 2016, Sarah pioneered the Cloud Environmental Compliance Program, with the approach of harnessing the power of data to drive environmental, sustainability, and Ecodesign excellence for cloud server equipment and transport packaging.

Kim Braun, Senior Environmental Compliance Manager
Microsoft

Kim, a Senior Manager at Microsoft, leads Environmental Compliance projects and teams in support of Surface and Xbox consumer electronic devices. With 20 years of experience, she has worked on a diverse range of projects and products, spanning substance restrictions, electronic waste compliance, sustainability, and Eco-label initiatives. Her data-driven approach led to Microsoft’s transition from non-use declarations to full material declaration 15 years ago and she is delighted to see all that data is being used for today.
